Self Reflection
I didn’t learn anything new about myself during this experience however I gained a new appreciation for my financial circumstances. I will admit that I didn’t expect to enjoy this activity all that much, but I ended up having a lot of fun cooking and delivered food with my classmates. I have always enjoyed cooking, but I especially enjoyed cooking with my friends.

The Community:
During this service and action experience, I learned that in such trying times like these, the community bands together to help those in need. The collaboration of Christ Church and Somersfield Academy to help families severely affected by COVID-19 showed me the inherent generosity in the Bermudian community.
Food
During this experience I learned that mistakes can almost always be fixed if dealt with properly. For example, some of the pork chops that were cooked on Tuesday were quite tired looking, lacking a brown crust. However, thanks to the delicious garlic-honey sauce in which the porkchops were tossed, you could barely tell the difference between the perfectly grilled porkchops or the dull and gloomy ones.
