Jaedyn's Marvelous Mac & Cheese

This Mac & Cheese dish is a hit to any family gathering or party. I learned how to make this fabulous recipe from my dad while growing up.  Not only is mac & cheese a popular Bermuda dish, but our family recipe has also become a staple at my birthday parties and a popular request from all my friends.  It's creamy, smooth, hardy, simple and absolutely delicious anytime of the year!


·      1 block of cheese

·      2 cups of milk

·      1 cup of cream

·      2 boxes of your favorite pasta

·      Salt

·      Pepper

·      2 tablespoons of flour

·      Butter



First, you need to prep your cheddar cheese and get it grated then put it to the side. Next, take a fairly large pot and put it at medium heat with water until it boils. When the water boils add your pasta, and cook until andante. Now, we are going to work on our white sauce. First, we are going to make a roux which starts of 4 tablespoons of butter into a pan, then add your to tablespoons of flour, lastly add 2 cups of milk and 1 cup of cream until the sauce is a creamy texture. Let the sauce cook at low heat. Next drain your pasta and put it into the same pot, now you add your cheese sauce to the pasta until all the pasta is coated. Add salt and pepper to taste. Now put your mac n cheese in a baking pan and put some cheese on top and broil it for 5 minutes. Lastly, when all the cheese is melted serve!
