WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT MYSELF:

The week of May 31st, I went with my school to Christ Church to help out with packing and distributing food for those who need it. This experience taught me a lot about myself and allowed me to appreciate where I am. I learned that I love working together with my classmates, and I felt great about being able to help the larger community of Bermuda.

WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT THE COMMUNITY:

My knowledge of the community as a whole was increased and I was able to better understand the way in which our community works together to help those in need. It was interesting to see the impacts of our actions on the surrounding community.

WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT FOOD:

 Overall, I was able to learn a lot from the experience, not just during the service aspects, but also from the food perspective and my understanding was expanded. For example, I learned about balanced meals and the importance of incorporating different types of nutrients into every meal.
