Anisa's Brazilian Parfait

I choose to make this Brazilian Parfait because my mom grew up in Brazil most of her life, and I think Brazilian foods tast absolutely delicious. I choose to to a Brazilian desert and even though it was actually my first time making the dessert. The parfait has a cream mixture at the bottom, then some small pieces of berries, then pieces of meringue and, last but not least, whipped cream. That is the order that my mom puts the parfait in and it tastes delicious! That is why choose to make a Brazilian parfait.

Brazilian Parfait

Ingredients:

1 can condensed milk

1 can milk (use condensed milk can to measure milk)

1 tbsp corn starch

1 yolk

Meringues (optional)

Whipped cream

Berries

Cream

Method

Mix before cooking: 1 can condensed milk, 1 can milk, 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon corn starch. Heat on medium flame mix until thick. Set aside to cool (or put in fridge.)

In a cup layer with cream, crumbled meringues, chopped berries. Top with whipped cream.

Ready to cook!
