The Bermuda Cookie Company visits WTC

The Bermuda Cookie Company visits WTC

Boasting cookies like "Hog Wilde" (chocolate with chocolate chips) or "Want more," (caramel, chocolate chips and coconut) the Bermuda Cookie Company is taking the local market by storm. And when Alicia Resnik, the owner of this innovative company, visited chefs of the WTC it was an afternoon of total cookie heaven. After sampling a selection of her fresh baked cookies (sugar, Hog Wilde and Want More) the students learned the ins and outs of running Bermuda's first cookie company. Then, when Mrs. Resnik allowed the chefs to make and EAT their very own bowl of cookie dough, she took cookie heaven to a whole new "high"  (and don't even get me started on the toppings). Long story, short—head to your neighborhood grocery sometime very soon to stock up on cookie dough from the Bermuda Cookie Company. You won't be disappointed!

The cookies from The Bermuda Cookie Company were amazing. My favorite was the Hog Wilde, which was a chocolate cookie with chocolate chips . YUM! All the cookies were light, fluffy, chewy and delicious. I loved all of them.

“The cookies were so delicious I could not stop eating them!”

The cookies Ms. Resnik’s made for us here at the Write to Cook were incredibly tasty. They were the perfect sweetness and texture for me, and the variety ensured that people with completely different preferences would all have a cookie they would thoroughly enjoy. I really liked the gooey caramel that oozed out of the “Want More” cookie, but I couldn’t choose a favourite because they were all so good.

The cookie samples Mrs. Resnik baked were delicious! They were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Just talking about them makes my mouth water. I would truly recommend trying Mrs.Resnik’s cookie dough balls. Not only are they super delicious, but they’re easy to bake!

It was so fun to have Mrs.Resnik at the Write to Cook! The cookie dough recipe she taught us was excellent. It wasn’t too sweet or too bitter. I also loved how you could customize the cookie dough and add whatever topping you want to suit your personal taste!

When Mrs. Resnik of the Bermuda Cookie Company came in, we had such a fun time creating our own cookie dough. She kindly provided all the ingredients for this super easy recipe you could make at home! We brought in mix-ins for our dough, but these are optional as it is also delicious on its own. The cookie dough turned out so amazing and I would definitely recommend trying out the super easy recipe at home. Everything we did in that Write to Cook session was so fun and was one of my favorites!

Cooking with Mrs Resnik was so much fun! She taught us how to make edible cookie dough. It was so easy!

The edible cookie dough that we didn’t have to bake was simply amazing! This doughy recipe was made with milk, brown sugar, flour and vanilla extract. It tasted even more delightful with the added marshmallows and gummy bears. We were in cookie dough heaven!

I enjoyed making the cookie dough because it tasted amazing and because I love cookie dough and this cookie dough doesn’t have raw egg so I knew it was safe to eat. I also enjoyed it because we got to make a ton of cookie dough with any treats we wanted to use in it like chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, gummies, marshmallows, and sprinkles. Also I enjoyed it because we got to eat sample cookies and they tasted amazing. My favorite one of the sample cookies were the sugar cookies. They tasted so good! So that is why I enjoyed the cookie dough making and cookie sample tasting.
