Oct 24 Claire's Famous French Apple Tart

When I signed up for write to cook, I was so excited, but I had one problem. That problem was that I didn’t know what to cook. That’s when my mom suggested, “Why don’t you bake your grandmothers favorite, apple tart?” Then I was so excited because I love my grandmother’s apple tart. She used to bake it all the time when my dad was little for every birthday. It was like my chocolate cake (I have it for my birthday a lot).

So, when it was my day to cook, I was really excited. I was telling everyone what to do when they suggested something different: cutting the apples into really small pieces instead of quarters. Since they all thought that we should do that I agreed. The final product was therefore sooooo different. I hoped that everyone would like it, and to my happy surprise it was a huge success!
