Jelena's Mouthwatering Chocolate Cheesecake Protein Bars
For my turn on the Write to Cook I decided to make Protein Cheesecake Bites. I decided to make these bites because my mom’s fitness trainer posted this recipe on Instagram. The protein cheesecake bites are good to eat because they are healthy treat option, and they are sweet but not too sweet. If you want some cheesecake that is healthy and sweet I think this option will be perfect for you.
Directions:
PREHEAT YOUR OVEN TO 350 DEGREES CELCIUS
STEP 1:
In a glass bowl mix and melt in the microwave:
5 tbs - Coconut oil
1 cup - Dark Chocolate Chips
STEP 2:
In another bowl mix:
1 cup – oat flour
1 cup plus ½ cup - Chocolate Protein Powde
STEP 3:
Pour melted chocolate mixture from STEP 1 into dry mix from STEP 2
STEP 4:
Add the following into the mixture from STEP 3 and mix
2/3 cup – egg whites
1 /2 cup – Greek yogurt
STEP 5:
In a separate bowl mix the following using the cake mixer.
2 tbs - Honey
1 - 8oz package - Cream Cheese
1 / 4 cup – egg whites
STEP 6:
Spray your 8 inch square baking pan with cooking spray.
STEP 7:
Pour your chocolate mixture into the pan
STEP 8:
Spoon your cream cheese mixture on top of the chocolate mixture. Use a spoon to swirl the two mixes together. Don’t overmix.
STEP 9:
Bake in oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees Celsius.
